LG, the leading tech giant that was silent last year, has revealed the date of its new upcoming smartphone LG G6. The company has decided to launch the G6 at MWC 2017 on February 26, 2017. Now that is interesting because HMD is also planning to launch Nokia 6 on the same day. Well, never mind!!! Let us have a quick look at the specifications of the G6.
The LG G6 screen has a pixel ratio of 1440 x 2560and sports a 5.3-inch screen with full HD IPS LCD display along with Gorilla Glass 5. The device is fueled by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 processor along with 64GB/128GB of ROM. Both the versions have 6GB of RAM. Internal memory for both the versions can be expanded up to 256GB via MicroSD card.
Camera-wise, the LG G6 has 12MP of front camera along with f/1.9 aperture. The dual rear cameras are of 16MP + 16MP as well with f/1.8 aperture, LED flash, and phase detection auto focus. No specific data has been revealed about the battery yet.
In terms of connectivity, the phone offers dual-SIM function, 4G, Bluetooth, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, 3G, FM and GPS.
Well, the LG G6 indeed seems to be much powerful phone. Taking into consideration the specifications such as 6GB RAM and 16MP + 16MP dual rear cameras, the phone is likely to give a tough competition to its contenders. The only factor that will be restraining the sale of the G6 is the price tag. With such powerful specs comes a hefty price tag. Let us see if users will buy this smartphone or not.
