Motorola showcased its Moto G5 Plus smartphone in the MWC 2017 event held in Barcelona. Well, the company is all set to make it available in India. The company will start selling the smartphone exclusively on Flipkart. The sale will begin on March 15, 2017. Well, before we move forward, let’s take a quick look at the specs of the smartphone.
The new Moto G5 Plus provides a 5.2-inch screen with IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display. The screen also has a pixel ratio of 1080 x 1920. The screen also has a protection of Gorilla Glass 3. The handset is fueled by a Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with 2 GB/4 GB/3 GB of RAM. The phone also has 32 GB/32 GB/64 GB of internal memory respectively that can be expanded to 256 GB via MicroSD card.
In the field of camera, the rear camera is of 12 MP along with f/1.7 aperture, dual-LED and autofocus. The new Moto G5 Plus has 5 MP of front camera with f/2.2 aperture. The phone also supports a 3,000mAh battery that is capable of giving 18 hours of talk time and 700 hours of standby time. The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. In terms of connectivity the phone will offer dual-SIM connectivity, Bluetooth, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, 3G, FM and GPS.
As the new Moto G5 Plus is a mid range smartphone, the handset comes with a price tag of Rs 17,499. Currently, the phone is said to be available in only 2 color variants—fine gold and lunar grey.
