Pikachu Spotted Online: Not Pokémon But Smartphone

Wait!! Stop!! What?? We know your mind will be surprised by hearing that Pikachu was spotted online. Well, we are not referring the Pokémon!!! Pikachu is rumored to be the name of the upcoming smartphone of the popular Japanese tech lead Sony. It is claimed that Sony will be launching Pikachu in the current MWC 2017 that will be conducted on February 27, 2017. In addition to this, some of the specs of the smartphone have been leaked online. Let us have a look.

The upcoming Pikachu phone will provide a 5-inch screen with full HD IPS display. The screen will have a pixel ratio of 720 x 1280 a protection of Gorilla Glass as well. The phone will be fueled by 2.3GHz octa-core MediaTek SoC processor coupled with 3GB RAM. The phone will have 32GB internal memory that can be expanded to 128GB via Micro SD card.

In the camera section, the rear camera will be of 21MP of power. The upcoming Pikachu smartphone will have 8MP of front camera for proper selfies. No data has been revealed about the battery yet. The device is likely to run on Android 7.0 Nougat. In terms of connectivity the phone will offer 4G, Bluetooth, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, 3G, FM and GPS.

No specific information has been rolled out about the price as well as the color variant of the smartphone.

So friends, do not get confused that the design of the Pikachu smartphone will be similar to that of the Pokémon. That will be funny though!!!
