Jio has rolled out two new prepaid options as “Happy New Year 2018” plans for its customers giving them daily Internet data of more than 1GB. Under the 199 plan, users can get 1.2GB data on a daily basis whereas the Rs. 299 plan is aimed at customers with a heavy usage and provides 2GB of data per day. In addition to 4G data, users can avail free voice calling, national roaming, and SMS. There are other app benefits for Prime members, just like other Reliance Jio plans.
With the Jio 199 plan, users can make use of up to 33.6GB of high-speed 4G data for a period of 28 days, which comes to an effective cost of less than Rs. 6 per GB. The 299 plan, on the other hand, gives subscribers 56GB of total data for a period of 28 days. Once the high-speed limit is exhausted in both the plans, the speed will be reduced to 128kbps. All other benefits remain the same.
Besides these plans, Reliance Jio has other plans as well with varying data benefits. The Rs. 149 plan gives you a validity period of 28 days with 4GB high-speed data and is majorly for those with limited data needs. The Rs. 399 plan comes with a validity period of 70 days, the Rs. 459 plan has 84 days validity and the Rs. 499 plan is valid for 91 days, which comes with 1GB of high-speed data per day. The Rs. 509 Jio recharge is valid for a period of 49 days and brings to you 2GB of data daily. All plans bring along numerous other benefits like free voice calling, national roaming, and SMS, and access to Jio’s services for Prime members.
Recently, Jio is planning to extend the cash back benefits for high-end customers. Last month, the company had extended the cash back offer to December 25.
