HP Z2 Mini’s launch in India

HP has designed and launched its first mini workstation “Z2 Mini” in India. The Z2 Mini is a small form PC designed especially for the users in computer-intensive industries and Computer Aided Design.

The world’s first mini workstation is worth Rs 72,000 in India and will be available from January 25, 2017.

The mini workstation is 2.3-inch high that is comparatively smaller than a normal PC. The features such as expandable memory of up to 32 GB, 6 USB ports (4 of 3.0 ports and 2 of 3.1 G1 Type-C ports),  3x3x3 limited standard warranty, up to 1.5 TB max storage, same ISV application certification as the Z240 Security and manageability features, such as Intel® vPro™ technology 5 make it a great choice. It supports 6 displays and has a workstation more powerful than a commercial mini PC.

According to Ketan Patel, HP Inc. India, Senior Director, the workstation is explicitly versatile and has twice the power of a business-class mini PC. The HP Z2 in order to handle large files at a faster phase has a Windows 10 Pro or Linux operator with an Intel Xeon processor HP Z Turbo drive and Nvidia professional graphics.

Vice President and General Manager Jeff Wood of Workstations and Thin Clients, HP Inc. said that HP Z2 mini workstation is a relatively versatile iconic design with a power more than a business-class mini PC. HP launched HP Z series in 2009 after lots of redesigning and now once again it has developed a breakthrough after designing the world’s first mini workstation “HP Z2 Mini”– a unique combination of power, space efficiency and sophistication for the customers.
